These cats are smart, and a certain amount of training is possible, but it is not necessary. They can learn to come when their names are called, to meow or stop meowing on command, and even to fetch items like their toys. Training requires patience, treats, positive reinforcement, and clear direction. Even without training, these cats are a joy to spend time with and take care of.
