Here at Excited Cats we advocate for adopting before shopping. We of course understand that certain breeds of cats fit better into certain homes, lifestyles, and personalities, where other cat breeds may not and you do not always have breed choice when adopting.
But before you start to seek out a breeder in your area, we encourage you to check with your local pet rescue organizations to see if your future kitty is there waiting for you.
If they’re not, then we strongly encourage you to ensure the breeder you choose has ethical and registered practices.
We’ve created a guide on how to find a reputable breeder along with a list of questions we recommend you to ask.
We wish you all the best in your journey to find your next family member.
