This very small cattery has been in business since 2002. They don’t always have kittens available, but when they do, the parents are tested for genetic disorders to ensure healthy kittens. They don’t spay or neuter their kittens. However, they require purchasers to sign a contract stating they will have the kitten altered by a specific date.

Their kittens, when available, are priced between $1,000–$1,500. They are raised in the breeder’s home and are socialized and used to being around pets and people. This makes for an easier transition into your home.

2. Smokey Mountain Maine Coons

Smokey Mountain Maine Coons originally started in Tennessee but relocated some of their business to Fort Wayne, IN. They have been breeding Maine Coons since 2009. This cattery will ship kittens to major airports in the United States. They charge between $400–$500 for air transport. The kitten prices range from $1,500–$2,200. You must also sign an adoption contract when you agree to purchase a kitten from this cattery. The contract explicitly outlines the expectations for care and the time you will need to have the kitten spayed or neutered.
