Persian cats are known for their gentle, quiet, docile nature. Their looks are unmistakable with their heavy coats, wide-set eyes, and short snouts. They bond closely with those they trust and can make wonderful pets.
If you’re in Oklahoma and are searching for the perfect Persian to bring home, there are two well-known reputable Persian breeders in the state to check out. There are also some great breeders in the surrounding states as well.

1. KittCatsMeow
- Norman, Oklahoma
Located in Norman, Oklahoma, this small cattery specializes in both Persian and Himalayan cats. The kittens are raised within the home and get lots of individual attention.
The adult cats in their breeding program are genetically tested for polycystic kidney disease (PKD), which is a genetic kidney disease found in Persian cats. Their goal is to remain PKD-negative and they go to great lengths to do so. This cattery is also feline leukemia negative and feline FIV negative.
All kittens from KittCatsMeow will have been dewormed and given at least one set of vaccinations. They will be available to their new homes around 11 to 12 weeks of age. This cattery will ship their kittens but will require two sets of vaccinations before shipment.
2. Hidalgo’s Persian, Exotic & Siberian Cats

Located in the Tulsa suburb of Broken Arrow, this cattery specializes in Persians, Exotic Shorthair, and Siberian Forest cats. The family hand raises their kittens to ensure they have wonderful temperaments.

RB Cathouse specializes in silver & golden Persian kittens with baby doll faces. Located in Sulphur Springs, AR, this in-home Persian breeder prefers to meet every buyer if possible. They have been breeding Persians for 23 years and prioritize the health of their cats and kittens.
The kittens come with health guarantees and all parent cats are PKD negative.
2. Fancy Felines Persian, Himalayan, & Exotic Kittens
- Wichita, Kansas
Fancy Felines is a small family-run cattery in Wichita, Kansas that puts focus on giving their kittens a lot of personal love and attention. They raise Persian, Himalayan, and Exotic kittens. You can purchase a pet or have your kitten CFA-registered with breeding rights for an additional fee.

LuvMyCats is a small, CFA & TICA-registered Persian cattery in North Dallas, Texas. Their kittens come with health records, a two-year health guarantee against genetic defects, and have received age-appropriate immunizations before going to their new homes.

Kitty Cature is a small, CFA-registered cattery in North Texas. With over 35 years of experience with Persians, this breeder does not cage their cats and kittens. Per the website, the kittens are raised in a nursery until 6 weeks of age then can venture out into the house.

Tayzcats is a small, CFA-registered cattery located in Central Missouri. Their kittens are handled daily and come well-loved and socialized. Health is their top priority, and all parent cats have negative PKD and feline leukemia hist ories. They donate a portion of all kitten sales to a local animal shelter.

Precious Persians is an in-home cattery in Standon, Missouri. All kittens are FIV-free and FeLV-free and raised in the household with lots of attention. Every kitten is born and raised in my house and receives lots of special attention. All kittens come dewormed with appropriate vaccinations, CFA papers, health records, and a health guarantee.
